The Country House architecture is in graceful French Colonial style. There are steep roofs, dormer windows, tall chimneys, verandahs, French doors and rustic shutters. The interiors have 12 foot ceilings, oak floors, marble mantle pieces, gilded mirrors, basket chandeliers, floral wallpapers and fabrics, French furniture and soft colour everywhere, all keeping with old world French Colonial charm and elegance.
The Country House
Upscale specialist providers have been used to create the exquisite interiors of the home. These providers include Designers Guild, Sanderson, Designer Rugs, Designer Chandelier, Giltwood, Cote Maison, Town and Country Style, Villa Maison, La Maison, French and English, La Maison de Jean-Pierre, Kosnar's Picture Framing and Porters Paints. The Guest House, designed for gracious living, is perfect for socialising and relaxing. The divine common room has a well equipped kitchen, long oak dining table and chairs, and plush sitting area for easy conversation.
There are three delightful well-appointed bedrooms, each with an en suite. Bedside tables contain books on poetry and philosophy. Bathroom amenities are from the White Company of London.
Each bedroom looks out to the garden. On the veranda outside each bedroom there is a wicker table and chairs, suitable for a quiet chat, read or drink.
There is also a stunning outdoor dining area with a BBQ and French table on lawn, surrounded by a charming garden planted with linden trees, roses and lavender.
Located in the trendy little town of Trentham and close by there is Du Fermier restaurant, three gastro pubs and one very good country pub. There are four cafes and a range of specialist shops.
The Living Room
Gracious and beautiful, the living room is a wonderful space to eat and relax in. There is a fully equipped kitchen. It has a stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven and coffee maker. The oak dining table seats 10. There is a side table that seats two. The lounge area seats 10 around the open fire. There is a home theatre in the lounge area.
Outside each bedroom on the veranda there is an English wicker style table and two comfortable chairs. There is a BBQ and outdoor dining area, with a French metal table and chairs that seat eight. It is planted with lavender, roses and linden trees. The dining area is protected from the sun by large umbrellas.

This bedroom has a queen bed. There is a small table with chairs. There is also a television with DVD player. There is an en suite bathroom. There is also a fridge and iron/ironing board.
Bedroom Two: The Teal Room (Booked)
This bedroom has a queen bed and a small table with chairs. There is also a television with DVD player. The en suite has a bath and shower in it. There is also a fridge and iron/ironing board.
Bedroom Three: The Grey Room
This bedroom has two long single beds that will be zipped together to make a king bed. There is a small table and chairs. There is also a television with DVD player. There is an en suite bathroom. There is also a fridge and iron/ironing board.
